For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) hasspecialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time andpart-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of FederalAgencies across the United States.

NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the National ParkService (NPS). These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise,facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad arrayof other professional skills that support the National Park Service through theExperienced Services Program (ESP).

The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee isan ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminateenrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and theAgency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.

PLEASE NOTE: An ?Enrollee? is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEWSolutions. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established througha Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.

Duration

This position is funded for up to 1040 total hours.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Visual graphic and media design with minimum additionalexperience of 20 year(s) OR Previously completed training in visual graphic andmedia design

Experience using current graphic and media software systemsExperience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MSTeams, MS Outlook, Adobe AcrobatMicrosoft Teams, Adobe InDesign, Premiere ProDuties:

Works in collaboration with NPS communications teams to plan, develop, andcreate Section 508 compliant visually engaging and effective graphic and mediaelements to enhance products on a variety of topics and disciplines. Productswill be used for online, live virtual or classroom training.

Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, andlayouts for various purposes such as print publications, digital media, andpresentations. Applies Section 508 compliant standards to ensure that all mediaproduced are fully accessible. 50%Video and Photo Editing: Edit and produce high-quality, engaging videos,including trimming, cutting, and arranging footage, adding transitions, movinggraphics, music, sound and visual effects, color correcting, grading, and addingtext overlays, captions, and audio description. Edit photos for clarity andcomposition, and to apply metadata including Alt Text. 30%Interpretive Design: Ensure that publications, websites, and other graphicsincorporate sound interpretive design. Advises on technical advantages anddisadvantages of various formats, styles, media, and reproduction, suggestingthose that will best meet the project objectives. 10%Website Design: Provide guidance and review for website content and visualelements to ensure consistency, usability, and Section 508 compliance acrossdigital platforms. 10%
