Insight Global is seeking a talented Documentation Specialist to join one of our large utilities clients in Evansville, IN. This position is very similar to a Claims Specialist, as you are responsible to handling utility paperwork and requests that come into the quality assurance teams; more responsibliites are listed below. Ideally, we are finding candidates that have handled large amounts of paperwork, documentation, claims, or internal requests that required attention to detail and the ability to work through multiple software systems. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Reviewing Work Orders: Ensure charges are applied, attachments are included, and quality control checks are completed. Data Verification and Mining: Verify data accuracy and extract relevant information. Analytical Skills: Investigate and resolve issues independently. Communication Skills: Reach out to various departments (Operations, Engineering, Utility) to gather missing documents or drawings. Self-Sufficiency: Work independently without micromanagement, showing initiative and self-motivation. Documentation Submission: Submit completed packets to the Utility Quality Check team for verification and system entry. Additional Notes: Training Provided: Specific training will be given on the documentation and processes. Workload Management: Cases vary in time (5 to 30 minutes), with enough work to stay busy throughout the day. Skills Required: Attention to Detail: Ensure all aspects of work orders are accurate and complete. Analytical Thinking: Dig into details, ask questions, and solve problems independently. Effective Communication: Clearly communicate with different departments to gather necessary information. Self-Motivation: Stay on task and manage workload efficiently without constant supervision. Flexibility: Adapt to changing responsibilities and workload as the team grows. Compensation : starting at $25/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
