Production Artist Columbus Ohio in office SummaryAt 500 Production Artists play a critical role in bringing creative ideas to life by transforming concepts and designs into polished technically accurate deliverables This position supports a wide range of work across print packaging digital presentation and motion related projects ensuring all assets meet the highest standards of quality consistency and brand integrity Success in this role requires advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop along with exceptional attention to detail and strong production expertise Experience with Adobe After Effects is highly preferred What Youll DoPrepare and finalize print packaging digital presentation and production ready assets for a diverse portfolio of clientsImplement layout content and production revisions based on internal and client feedbackCollaborate closely with creative account and project teams to ensure deliverables are visually compelling and technically accurateMaintain consistency with brand standards production specifications and quality expectations across all assigned projectsReview and refine typography including kerning tracking leading spacing and overall readabilityPerform thorough quality assurance checks on fonts colors logos imagery separations and file specificationsEvaluate retouch and optimize imagery as needed for production requirementsManage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environmentPrepare review proofs and production files using large format Epson and laser printersOrganize archive and distribute final project files according to established processes and standardsLeadership ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibilitiesWhat Youll NeedAssociates or Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Communications or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be consideredMinimum of 2 years of production art graphic design or related experienceAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign Illustrator and PhotoshopStrong working knowledge of macOS and current design layout and production softwareExcellent organizational communication and time management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracyExceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality workPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a creative agency environmentExperience with Adobe After Effects motion graphics animation workflows or video production supportFamiliarity with print production processes packaging production and prepress standardsPhysical & Travel RequirementsAbility to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environmentAbility to sit stand and work at a computer for extended periodsOccasional lifting and movement of production materials and printed proofsAbility to travel up to 5 annually as needed for client meetings industry events training or other business related activitiesAdditional InformationOther Duties This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties responsibilities or qualifications associated with the position Responsibilities may change at any time based on business needs Equal Employment Opportunity 500 is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace We recruit hire develop and promote employees based on qualifications merit and business needs and do not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by applicable federal state or local law
