About the Role

Culmen International is seeking a Scientific Editor to support our work with the Defense Health Agency in Silver Spring, MD.

What You'll Do in Your New Role

The Scientific Editor ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency, and publication readiness of scientific and technical products supporting PHCoE research and dissemination efforts.

  • Edit scientific reports, manuscripts, and evidence briefs.
  • Review products for technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with publication and style standards.
  • Coordinate peer review and publication processes.
  • Support development of scientific communication materials.
  • Edited manuscripts
  • Evidence briefs
  • Research reports
  • Publication-ready journal articles
  • White papers

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a health-related field preferred.
  • Experience editing scientific and technical publications.
  • Familiarity with APA and biomedical publication standards.
  • Public Trust clearance; contract requires US Citizenship
