JOB DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in creating and overseeing the visual identity and branding of Evangel University. He or she will support the development and execution of strategies that elevate the university s brand, support the telling of the university s story both internally and externally, and drive towards growth in the university s mission and vision. This role is responsible for leading design projects and ensuring that all visual materials align with the university's brand guidelines. Expertise in graphic design, branding, and leadership will help maintain a consistent and impactful presence for the Evangel University brand across a variety of marketing communications and brand touchpoints.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

Leads design projects from start to finish and provides valuable creative feedback throughout the process

Takes ideas from concept to execution by working closely with the leadership team, internal and external partners, and Marketing colleagues to deliver completed projects in a timely manner

Functions as a brand steward to ensure brand standards and guidelines are maintained with cross-functional and external partners

Continuously explores the industry s best practices to maximize creativity and inspire others

Effectively designs a wide range of promotional collateral, including: Print

Web

Email/Social Media

Event Signage/Swag

Requirements for Success:

5+ years relevant industry experience

Maintain a high level of professionalism and an exceptional team attitude

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills

Compelling portfolio demonstrating creative versatility, conceptual thinking, and superb design execution across multiple design disciplines

Stays current on design and industry trends, adapting to best practices

Ability to incorporate feedback and give/take direction

Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, iconography, color theory, layout design, print production, and image selection

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
