Social Media/Content Coordinator
Summary
The Social Media/Content Coordinator will oversee the social media presence of the university through its selected platforms. This includes multi-platform social monitoring, content production, engagement, tracking, and strategy-building. The social media/content coordinator is a brand storyteller and will serve as the official voice of the university through its social channels. In addition, the social media/content coordinator will contribute written content to advance the university s marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and coordinate the creation of social media content in support of the university s revenue generating divisions (Admissions and Advancement) as well as broad university highlights and initiatives.
Collaborate with the university s colleges, including the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Online Learning, and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary to ensure an active social presence.
Monitor the reputation of the university via online conversations; take appropriate and timely action as needed.
Engage in online dialogue via the university s social media platforms to answer questions, provide direction, and stimulate positive conversation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in social media platforms and innovation and make recommendations for adoption.
Provide cell phone photography and video footage as needed to meet content goals.
Maintain calendar of institutional activities and events in order to provide timely content.
Oversee and ensure adherence to the university s social media policies and update regularly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Exemplify and articulate a like-mindedness with Evangel University s Christ-centered mission, vision, and values.
Bachelor s degree in marketing, journalism, communication, public relations, or related field preferred.
Excellent grammar, writing, copy-editing, and communication skills, including the ability to adapt writing style to appeal to diverse audiences and adhere to established brand voices.
Versatile research skills and enthusiasm for learning about new topics and uncovering stories and events that will enhance the university s social media presence.
Proficiency in social analytics reporting tools.
Ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
EXPERIENCE:
Two or more years of social media management/facilitation in a professional setting preferred.
Experience working with project management systems preferred.
