Wiley's prestigioussocialscienceand humanities(SSH)portfoliois looking foradynamic and ambitious individualto join the team inthe role ofEditor in Chief,Psychology.You will use your background in scientific research, your knowledge of the publishing landscape, and yourstrongcommunicationand networking skills to drivethe strategic development ofone or more journals, raising the profile and visibility of thosejournal(s) in the community, and attracting new authors and content. TheEditor in Chiefwillalsobeinvolved in the peer review process and decision-making ofsubmittedmanuscripts and ensures adoption of best practices and highest ethical standards in publishing.

How you will make an impact:

Leverage your network, knowledge of the subject area and its development, and desk research skills to drive content acquisition and submissions growth across thepsychologyportfolio.

Strategically develop one or more journals,from scientific and publishing perspectives within the context of the broaderpsychologyjournals portfolio.

Establish andmaintaina strong network of scientists who are thejournals'authors, peerreviewersand board members.

Represent Wileyandthepsychologyportfolioat conferencesandthroughin-person and virtualoutreach activities at universities and research institutes.

Contributeto the editorial evaluation,peer review, and decision making formanuscriptssubmittedtoseveraljournals.

Collaborate withyourmanager and colleagues toestablishateamculture of trust,respectand high performance.

What we are looking for:

A PhD degree inpsychologyor relatedfield, andwith an excellent research background and a strong understanding ofrecent trendsand developments.

Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a flexible and innovative approach to problems and a focus on defining and achieving outcomes.
