We've just been invited to bid on a one-year multimedia contract with a major fire protection public agency, and I'm looking for a freelance editor I can call on for project work over the coming year. This will be a monthly retainer with clear expectations and expected deliverables. We will need a mix of short-form social (=60s), mid-form (1-2 min), and occasional long-form (2-5 min) pieces. Subject matter ranges from event coverage and training exercises to recruitment campaigns and public-safety messaging. Steady volume is expected, but variable month to month. This will be a contracted, 1099 position. We will need a contractor agreement, Mutual NDA due to public safety and sensitive footage.
