Communications Content Specialist

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for Communications Content Specialist at our facility in Naples, FL. This role will be responsible for supporting content development and execution for various corporate communications initiatives. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong editorial and project management skills and the ability to deliver strategic communications that align with overall business objectives and champion the cultural values of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute key components of internal communication plans, campaigns and programs to support the needs of business partners, stakeholders and teams across the company.

Deliver enterprise reporting and feature stories for the global employee intranet that educate and inspire internal audiences; support global partners with content development and editing.

Aggregate and update weekly content for high-visibility feature areas on the global employee intranet.

Coordinate and execute the development of various high-profile newsletters and corporate email communications for internal audiences.

Provide corporate writing support across the company as needed.

Build and maintain effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders and become a trusted and knowledgeable communications partner and advisor.

Engage in interviews with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Ensure all communications represent Arthrex brand standards and align with organizational goals and objectives.

Serve cross-functional roles with the department as needed or assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in communications, journalism or related field

3 years of relevant experience required

Experience working with or on a Communications or Marketing team in a corporate environment

Medical device and/or consumer product industry experience preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Knowledge of AP Style in professional writing

Experience working successfully with cross-functional teams

Strong business acumen with ability to incorporate insights from the business into strategic communications plans and overall creative output

Experienced writer with a demonstrated aptitude for storytelling and established track record of creating high-volume, high-quality content from start to finish

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Deadline- and detail-oriented with strong initiative and experience managing multiple projects/processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Foreign language skills such as Spanish and German a plus

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Macintosh or PC platform

Proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign a plus

Experience with an enterprise social media management tool a plus

Experience with SharePoint for intranet applications a plus

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
