PART-TIME WRITER / COMMUNITY CURATOR (WELLNESS + CULTURE) (Los Angeles) compensation: DOE Community List is a curated platform focused on wellness, creativity, movement, and community-centered events in Los Angeles. We're looking for someone who is naturally plugged into the world of wellness, intentional gatherings, sober or sober-curious culture, creativity, movement, mindfulness, and community building. This is not a corporate content role. We're looking for someone with taste. Someone who genuinely enjoys discovering meaningful experiences and writing about culture, trends, connection, and community. You might be a fit if you: Already attend wellness or community events regularly Love researching trends, gatherings, creative spaces, and emerging cultural shifts Have strong writing skills and an editorial eye Enjoy Substack, blogging, cultural commentary, or community journalism Are naturally organized and self-directed Are interested in startups, media, community building, or wellness culture Understand the difference between authentic community and performative networking ROLE INCLUDES: Researching and curating events for CommunityList.org Writing short blog articles and event roundups Assisting with a bi-weekly newsletter and Substack Identifying emerging community and wellness trends Helping shape the editorial voice of the platform Eventually assisting with brand partnerships and sponsor outreach This role starts part-time and flexible.
