Editors/Writers Summary C Technologies, Inc. is seeking Editors/Writers to support the development, review, and refinement of training materials, courses, job aids, documentation, and other instructional or missionaligned products. Editors/Writers ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with style, formatting, and accessibility requirements across all content delivered for the DCSA IDD program. Responsibilities Edit, proofread, and revise instructional content, course materials, learner guides, assessments, and supporting documentation. Ensure consistency of style, tone, structure, and formatting across all deliverables. Validate accuracy, grammar, clarity, readability, and alignment with instructional and program standards. Review content for accessibility, Section 508 compliance, and adherence to documentcreation requirements. Collaborate with Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs), SMEs, multimedia developers, and project teams to ensure quality and accuracy. Manage version control, document organization, and editorial workflows. Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in draft materials. Education Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Experience Required Current Secret clearance. Minimum four (4) years of editing, writing, or documentation development experience. Experience reviewing instructional or technical content for accuracy, clarity, and structural soundness. Experience applying grammar, editorial, and formatting standards across multiple content types. Experience Preferred Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or federaltraining development programs. Experience with document accessibility techniques and Section 508 compliance. Experience using Q/A tools, editorial checklists, and structured documentation workflows. Tools & Software Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Style guides and editorial tools. 508/accessibility validation tools such as ANDI, PAC, or builtin accessibility checkers. Documenttracking and collaboration platforms. Knowledge & Skills Strong editorial judgment, grammar proficiency, and attention to detail. Ability to review and refine instructional, technical, and policyrelated content. Understanding of adult learning concepts and training development terminology. Strong communication, collaboration, and contentorganization skills. Ability to ensure accessibility, consistency, and compliance across deliverables.
