Department: Marketing & Communications Reports To: VP, Marketing & Communications Summary The International Foodservice Distributors Association seeks a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing initiatives and member communications. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy marketing professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about utilizing technology to drive engagement and growth in the foodservice distribution industry. This position will assist with implementing strategic marketing plans to expand IFDA's member base, increase attendance and revenue at IFDA events, increase website traffic and social media engagement, and build relationships with key stakeholders. The senior manager works closely with the VP, Marketing & Communications to guide IFDA's overall marketing strategy and ensure that all marketing and engagement initiatives are aligned with IFDA's business goals. Essential Responsibilities: Execute multichannel marketing and engagement initiatives that communicate the IFDA brand: Digital Marketing & Technology Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms and CRM system Implement and manage email marketing campaigns, segmentation, and automation workflows Analyze digital marketing performance using analytics platforms and provide actionable insights Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT for system integrations Email Marketing & Communications Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies for diverse member segments, events, and other initiatives Create, schedule, and optimize email campaigns including newsletters, event promotions, and member updates Manage email lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations Design automated email sequences for members onboarding, event follow-ups, and engagement campaigns Monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and other key email metrics Content & Social Media Management Develop and maintain editorial calendars for multiple channels, including email, social media, and website Create engaging content that aligns with IFDA's brand voice and member interests Manage social media strategy across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging platforms Coordinate content and creation of graphics, videos, and written materials Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to source timely, relevant content Publications & Member Communications Manage regular newsletters to members and industry stakeholders Manage content workflow from conception to publication Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop industry-relevant content Ensure all communications align with IFDA's strategic messaging and brand guidelines Serve as a project manager with outside vendors Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Proven track record of successful email marketing campaigns and marketing automation (Hubspot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar) Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua, or similar) Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.) Experience using design software to create social media graphics (Adobe Illustrator/Creative Clous or Canva) Familiarity with CRM / AMS systems and data management Strong project management and organizational abilities Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and metrics Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong proofreading skills Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B or association environment A solid understanding of integrated marketing Demonstrated experience using analytics to inform and improve campaign performance Preferred Qualifications Experience in trade associations or membership organizations Experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.) Graphic design skills and familiarity with design software Marketing automation certifications
