The Marketing Specialist - Content Creator supports (Organic) Social Media content creation and is part of the Creative Brand Marketing team. They will collaborate with internal Creative Marketing team members, Strategy team, the social platform agency representatives, as well as internal omni cross-functional partners to help develop content to drive social brand engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Capture and edit, engaging, high-quality content (still photography & videos), continuing to elevate the social media channels with platform specific content.
  • Edit content with strong attention to pacing, tone, visuals, motion and light graphics.
  • Contribute to concepting and storyboarding that optimally reinforce marketing priorities and creative and strategic direction.
  • Monitor cultural trends and adapt them to our brand voice and aesthetic in real time.
  • Be agile, experimental, and constantly pushing the edge of what's possible for beauty/lifestyle content.
  • Partner with copywriter and designer to bring visual storytelling to life.
  • Manage all digital assets through multiple rounds of edits and channel formats, while aligning with our archiving best practices.
  • Some travel required.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of social media experience in-house or at an agency; video, photography or visual communications is preferred
  • Possess a creative eye,can produce on-the-fly in house content and editing photo & video content in a rapidly changing environment
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, trends and digital landscapes (e.g. TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed), YouTube (including Shorts), and other emerging platforms)
  • Creative thinker, highly motivated and collaborative with a willingness to learn
  • Be a self-starter that can work both independently and in a collaborative environment producing accurate work with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, self-manage multiple projects, meet quickly-approaching deadlines, and adapt to quickly shifting priorities
  • Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Technical skill in audio adjustments/replacement, color correcting and working with in-app social platform features
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
