As a Documentation Specialist, you will be part of the administrative support team, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of patent office examination processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Documenting Specialist (Part-Time)
**Location:** Columbus, OH
**Pay Range:** $30 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage operational workflows within internal systems to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
+ Oversee client communications by managing a dedicated email inbox to streamline communication pathways.
+ Coordinate the retrieval of foreign patent prosecution documents and manage long-term agreements.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of all processing activities to ensure transparency and accuracy.
+ Assign cases to CAS Examiners based on availability and expertise while enforcing strict turnaround times.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred, with paralegal coursework being a plus.
+ At least 2 years of administrative experience in a professional environment.
+ Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
