Job Description We are seeking a creative and skilled Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective training content tailored for logistics operations. This role involves designing and implementing learning solutions to enhance the skills and performance of frontline workforce, thereby contributing to the efficiency and excellence of logistics operations. Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to logistics operations. Create engaging e-learning modules, interactive simulations, and hands-on training experiences using various authoring tools and technologies. Collaborate with subject matter experts, operations managers, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Implement innovative instructional design methods to create effective and engaging learning experiences. Develop performance support tools and job aids to reinforce training and support on-the-job application. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in warehouse, logistics, or operations environment. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations. Knowledge of adult learning theories and their application in a fast-paced work environment. Familiarity with microlearning and just-in-time learning methodologies. Experience with video production and multimedia content creation. Basic understanding of data analytics for training evaluation and improvement. Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for diverse learner populations. Work Environment This role follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The primary tasks involve creating training programs for warehouse/industrial workers using Articulate Rise and Articulate 360. Collaboration with program managers and other designers is essential to understand learning needs, develop project content, and meet requirements. The work environment supports a day-to-day rhythm of understanding project scope, creating and reviewing training programs, while leveraging a learning management system.
