The Large Format Digital Print Operator/Designer position will be responsible for running and managing Newco’s in-house printing of labels for Newco equipment and accessories. We will provide in-house training to develop the skills necessary to design custom labels on Adobe programs.  This position also has the opportunity for creative design of labels and being a contributor to all marketing activities at the company - based on experience.

In this position you will work with other members of the Marketing/Graphics team, Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Procurement, and Line Leads. The ideal candidate should be able to self-manage, have attention to detail, good communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be deadline oriented. 

Core Responsibilities:

· Operate and manage all label printing needs and be a graphic design contributor. 

· Communicate with various departments to meet deadlines and avoid shortages.

· Backing up operations of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.

· Following manufacturer’s instructions related to the printing equipment.

· Troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs as needed. 

· Maintaining equipment parts and supply inventory. 

Requirements

 · Experience with Roland or large format printing.

· Computer proficiency with email, programs and managing file organization.

· Must be able to lift 50lbs to change rolls of printing material.

· Experience with Adobe Programs and a design portfolio is a plus.
