To act as the company?s primary liaison with independent contractors who handle the delivery of The Tennessean and other newspaper products to homes and single copy outlets. Will be required to negotiate new contracts with new and exiting contractors. At times, required to manage open delivery areas until a new contractor is contracted. Responsible for circulation volumes, meeting customer service expectations, customer contact to resolve delivery issues within 24 hours, managing quality delivery service of advertising products and alternate delivery products. Handles all aspects of running an open agency for home delivery and single copy papers, including carrier contracting, editing route lists and overseeing delivery of papers, resolving service complaints and collections of all single copy outlets.
